The Southeast Tourism Society (STS) has named the Annual Stuart Air Show as one of the Top 20 Events in the Southeast for the month of November 2017. Premier events from all across the southeastern United States compete to receive a Top 20 designation. The Martin County Office of Tourism and Marketing and the Stuart Air Show Board collaborated on the application for this prestigious designation.
“We’re very fortunate at the Stuart Air Show that confirmation of a job well done comes in the form of sun-kissed smiles on the thousands of airshow fans that visit the show every year, many coming from all over Florida, Canada and even from overseas. But we are also very proud of being honored by the distinguished Southeast Tourism Society. All the smiles, along with this prestigious recognition from STS, would not be possible without our community-minded partners, including the Martin County Tourist Development Council, the City of Stuart, dozens of non-profit organizations, sponsors and most importantly, the hundreds of volunteers that participate each year,” said Michael Roberts, Stuart Air Show president.
“It comes as no surprise that the Stuart Air Show was selected once again as one of the top events taking place across the Southeast. The Stuart Air Show team works incredibly hard on this outstanding event and are without a doubt worthy of this designation,” said Nerissa Okiye, Tourism and Marketing Manager for Martin County.
