Exceptional customer service and innovative programs draw new guests
Businesses in Palm Coast and the Flagler Beaches are known for exceptional customer service and the White Orchid Inn and Spa is a shining example of how innovative programs and customer service help to strengthen business.
Located at 1104 South Oceanshore Boulevard in Flagler Beach, White Orchid Inn and Spa is owned and operated by Heather & Derek Hodovance, seven days a week, from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and offers guests 10 newly decorated rooms, featuring poster beds and Jacuzzi tubs. Two swimming pools—one of which is heated to 98 degrees year-round—allowing guests the opportunity to relax. Included in every room booking is a chef-prepared breakfast and afternoon social hour complete with a complimentary glass of wine or beer and appetizers.
The Hodovances emphasize customer service, as evidenced through their online interactions with guests on TripAdvisor and social media platforms, where reviews include sentiments, such as:
“The staff was great to us, very accommodating and friendly. The view and spa is what sold me on coming here. Looking over A1A at the ocean sunrise, drinking coffee, seeing the birds skim the water and dolphins come up made the perfect start to the day, and is by far my favorite part of this place…”
“The staff is extremely professional but also very personable and they go above and beyond. We always feel like family!”
“Unbelievable!! This small piece of heaven was just what my husband and I needed! The attention to even the smallest of details was amazing. The staff so friendly but not over bearing, it was like they appeared when we needed something!”
When some businesses, hit hard by Hurricane Matthew, might have pulled back, White Orchid Inn and Spa took the natural disaster as an opportunity to renovate their facility and provide new product offerings, placing the emphasis on the customer experience. Additional staff was hired to better serve visitors, including a Shamanic Healer and Licensed Massage Therapist specializing in Auric Magnetic Healing, along with a psychologist with experience in life coaching and professional speaking.
The Inn’s full-service spa offers rejuvenating treatments like massages, including Swedish, Deep Tissue, Swe-Thai, Lomi-Lomi and Japanese Hot Stone. Facials utilize Yonka Paris Products and Facials as well as Sanitas Organic Facials & Peels from Boulder, Colorado. The Hodovances added the Sanitas product line after purchasing the Inn, paying homage to their Colorado roots. Additional treatments include waxing, manicures, pedicures and ionic foot treatments.
