Head to Alpine Helen-White County, a Bavarian beauty set in the Northeast Georgia Mountains, about an hour and a half north of Atlanta, and bring your appetite to celebrate Taste of Helen, 5-8 p.m., August 15at the Helen Festhalle, 1074 Edelweiss Street.
