MANDEVILLE, LOUISIANA–MARCH 2026–The Children’s Museum of St. Tammany (CMST) is excited to announce a new exhibit in its GET GLOBAL GALLERY! “Get Local with Visit the Northshore,” an interactive St. Tammany Trace Map!
The St. Tammany Trace map was created by Ron Barthet, Artist/Publisher of Community Souvenir Maps. The new GET LOCAL exhibit encourages our young guests to explore by playing with magnets on the magnetic wall that features different modes of transportation to travel across the St. Tammany Trace Map. We are grateful to Visit the Northshore for making this new exhibit possible.
“This collaboration with Visit the Northshore just made sense to inspire the children of our parish to GET LOCAL and to learn through play about all our beautiful parish has to offer on the map,” – Children’s Museum of St. Tammany’s Director of Marketing and Business Development, Marlo Christensen.
The Children’s Museum of St. Tammany is in Pelican Plaza at 813 Florida Street, Suite A, in Mandeville. The museum’s hours of operation are Tuesday – Friday, 10 am– 2 pm; Saturday & Sunday, 10 am – 4 pm, closed Mondays. CMST offers birthday parties, corporate and community events, field trips, and annual membership opportunities.
