International distinction shines a spotlight on Louisiana’s Northshore as a culinary destination
COVINGTON, LOUISIANA—OCTOBER 2026–Louisiana’s Northshore is earning international recognition for its culinary excellence as Feliciana Bistrôt & Bar in downtown Covington has been named a Michelin Recommended restaurant in the 2026 Michelin Guide American South.
The prestigious distinction was announced during the Michelin Guide American South Ceremony held October 21 in Nashville, Tennessee, recognizing Feliciana among an exceptional collection of restaurants celebrated for their culinary quality and memorable dining experiences.
Located in the heart of historic downtown Covington, Feliciana Bistrôt & Bar opened in February 2026 and quickly established itself as an exciting addition to The Northshore dining scene. Led by Executive Chef Patrick Teagle, the restaurant blends classic French bistro traditions with Louisiana’s distinctive flavors and locally sourced ingredients, creating a dining experience that reflects both culinary sophistication and Southern hospitality.
